Adım Satırları
[* black] Peel back the plastic tab looped around the circuit board and remove the plastic shielding. | |
+ | [* black] Inspection of the burnt area of the circuit board reveals that a blown capacitor is the culprit for our failed power supply. |
+ | [* icon_note] Why not just replace the failed component? Obviously a lot of heat was released when this component failed, and typically when any electrical component fails. This heat is usually enough to damage the paths in the circuit board. The heat may have also caused damage to surrounding components, depending on what part in your AirPort Express fails. Not only is there heat damage but the circuit board goes through some duress as a failing component will cause dips and peaks in voltage and current. Replacing the faulty component may work, but for how long and if it will work remains a question. |
