This is great but what if you get dental floss wrapped around the wheel axle and the tire is in great shape? I need the next step which is to remove the tire and clean out the wheel hub without having to replace the entire wheel assembly. All the other moving parts are easy to clean out and this one should be, too!

I followed the guide for the 650: Roomba 650 wheel module Disassembly

It's not exactly the same but it is similar. However I found step 8 very hard - as far as I could see the silver cog pins don't come out in the i7 meaning you have less manoeuvering space to get the last cog out. I did eventually manage, but then found that I couldn't get the wheel off. Maybe I just needed more brute force. However by this point there was a bit of wiggle room between the tyre and the wheel and I was able to use a small flathead screwdriver to hold it a few mm open while I scooped out whatever I could inside with another small screwdriver/tweezers/nail scissors. I found the nail scissors particularly useful to snip at coiled around hair in the middle which then came out more easily. Definitely not a quick and easy task but was successful in the end.

I would like to know how to take this troubleshooting farther for a new, replacement wheel that still does not move. I have two Roombas and swapping wheels also does not fix the problem. I have a spare set of new wheels at least! But it would be helpful to hear advice for the next step from a pro. Thanks.

The lever that holds the two rubber brushes broke and won’t hold them in place. Can I get a replacement part for this? Or is there an alternate way to keep the two rubber brushes from fall out? Thanks for your time! I have a Roomba i7 and love it, but don’t want to replace it with a new one for such a small part.
