Install the bottom adhesives

  • The two remaining strips (14 and 15) do not have guide holes and are more difficult to place. Before sticking them down, we recommend first setting them in their respective places on the iMac to get comfortable with their placement.

  • Grasp the red pull tab on strip 14 and pull to remove the backing from the strip.

  • Align the strip on the bottom edge of the rear enclosure, directly to the right of the middle screw on that edge.

  • The strip should be positioned such that the L-bend sits next to the right vertical adhesive. The L-bend should not overlap the right vertical adhesive.

  • Run your finger along the length of the adhesive strip to ensure it is straight and unwrinkled, pressing down as you go to adhere the strip to the iMac.

Installer les bandes adhésives inférieures

Les deux bandes adhésives restantes (14 et 15) n'ont pas de trous de guidage et sont plus difficiles à placer. Avant de les coller, nous vous recommandons de les placer d'abord à leurs emplacements respectifs sur l'iMac pour vous familiariser avec leur emplacement.

Saisissez la languette rouge sur la bande adhésive 14 et tirez-la pour retirer le film de protection.

Alignez la bande adhésive sur le bord inférieur du boîtier arrière, directement à droite de la vis du milieu sur ce bord.

La bande doit être positionnée de manière à ce que le coude en L se trouve à côté de l'adhésif vertical droit. Le coude en L ne doit pas chevaucher l'adhésif vertical droit.

Passez votre doigt sur toute la longueur de la bande adhésive pour vous assurer qu'elle est droite et ne fait pas de pli, en appuyant au fur et à mesure pour coller la bande à l'iMac.
