Remove the screen

  • Remove the screen.

  • To install a new screen:

  • Check if your replacement screen has speaker mesh and top edge adhesive pre-installed.

  • If it does, you won't need the top edge adhesive.

  • If it doesn't, remove the larger clear liner from the top edge adhesive and apply it to the screen (not the frame). Make sure the larger cutout lines up with the speaker mesh.

  • Follow this guide to apply the custom-cut adhesive.

  • Use the third photo as a reference to position your adhesives.

  • During the boot-up process after reassembly, the screen will go through a calibration sequence. Don't touch the screen during this process, as it could result in improper touch calibration and create touch issues.

Om een nieuw scherm te plaatsen:

Controleer je eerst of je nieuwe scherm speakergaas en kleefstrip aan de bovenkant bevat.

Als dit het geval is, heb je geen kleefstrip aan de bovenkant nodig.

Als dit niet het geval is, verwijder je de folie op de bovenste kleefstrip en plaats je de strip op het scherm (en niet op het frame). Zorg dat je de grote uitsnede op dezelfde plek plaatst als het speakergaas.

Gebruik je deze handleiding om op maat gesneden kleefstrips aan te brengen.

Gebruik je de derde foto ter referentie van hoe je de kleefstrips moet plaatsen.

Bij het opstarten van je telefoon zal het scherm een kalibratieprocedure doorlopen. Raak het scherm tijdens die procedure niet aan om te voorkomen dat je scherm foutief gekalibreerd wordt.
