SSD Installation

  • Install the new SSD by gently doing the reverse and pushing it into the slot and then down. Make sure the screw holes line up!

  • If you've correctly installed it, your machine should resemble the picture with the Green rectangle; with no exposed copper and the screw holes should also line up.

  • If your copper contacts are still exposed, as in the picture with the Red "X", then you need only push the SSD gently deeper into place.

  • Now put the silver screw back in the hole. It should be screwed all the way down, but not too tight.

SSD Installation

Installiere die SSD, indem du sie langsam rein schiebst und runter drückst. Stelle sicher, dass das Schraubenloch passt.

Wenn du sie korrekt installiert hast, sollte es so aussehen wie im grünen Rechteck auf dem Bild. Es darf kein Kupfer sichtbar sein und das Schraubenloch sollte genau passen.

Wenn die Kupferkontakte sichtbar sind wie auf dem Bild mit dem roten X, musst du die SSD nur weiter in das Fach schieben.

Nun schraube die silberne Schraube zurück in das Loch. Sie sollte sich bis nach ganz unten schrauben lassen, aber schraube nicht zu fest.
