How to clean a Game Boy cartridge.

Montar el cartucho.

  • Cuando todas las partes estén limpias es hora de montar de nuevo el cartucho. Para ello sacamos el tornillo del alcohol y verificamos que haya quedado limpio.

  • Si el tornillo presenta marcas de corrosión, podemos usar algún producto específico para eliminar el óxido, aunque reemplazarle por un nuevo tornillo es más recomendable.

  • Una vez montado el cartucho está listo para jugar con él o ser almacenado adecuadamente en un lugar limpio, seco y donde entre el menor polvo posible.

Mount the cartridge

When all the parts are clean, it's time to reassemble the cartridge. To do this, take the screw out of the alcohol and verify that it's clean.

If the screw shows signs of corrosion, you can use a specific product to remove the rust, although replacing it with a new screw is more advisable.

Once the cartridge is reassembled, it is ready to be played with or properly stored in a clean, dry place with minimal dust exposure.
