  • This step shows how to create an initial gap using an opening tool. If you don't have an opening tool, skip to the next step.

  • Pull up on the suction handle with strong, steady force.

  • Press the edge of an opening tool downwards into the seam to create an initial gap.

  • If you're having trouble, reheat the edge and try again.

  • Insert the tip of an opening pick into the gap.

  • Don't insert the pick more than 2 mm, or you may damage the screen.
