Kenwood Chef: Replacing the SER1018 Planetary set

Adım 1 — Remove the locking latch knob

Remove the button

Adım 2 — Remove the sun gear

Unscrew the hex nut

Adım 3 — Bottom of the machine

Remove the bottom of the machine

Adım 4 — Fast and medium speed outputs

Unscrew the screws on each side of the circular discs to remove the circular plastic discs

Adım 5 — Housing cover

Unscrew the three Torx screws

Adım 6 — The challenge: loosen the hidden screw

It is not necessary to proceed to the next step if the plastic drive wheel has been removed

Adım 7 — Special Tool

I modified an open end wrench to drive a Tx20 bit

Adım 8 — Open the housing

Remove the guides (red mark). They can be reassembled after closing the housing

Adım 9 — Planetary

The former one has a cross fromation.

Adım 10 — Training axis

The former one has a cross patteren

Adım 11 — Labels

Adım 12 — Fitting the gears

Place each gear on the axis

Adım 13 — Crank Case Assembly

There is a lot of greasein the case. Spread the grease on the surfaces that need it.

Adım 14 — Hidden screw

Screw the hidden screw back in
