Locate the fan in the upper left hand corner of the laptop. Remove the cable connecting the fan to the motherboard.

  • Remove the cable connecting the fan to the motherboard.

  • Be sure not to damage the motherboard or the connecting cable. Carefully apply force to remove the cable.
