So my 84v battery I use in custom ev I build but the battery doesn't charge if I plug it into its normal charging point but only if I plug it directly into the plug where It supplies power to the controller and other units on the vehicles

Check the charging cable: Make sure the cable you are using to charge the battery is working properly. Try using a different cable to see if that solves the problem. OR
Check the charging port: Make sure the charging port on the device is clean and free of debris. Sometimes, dust or other particles can get stuck in the charging port and prevent the charging cable from making a proper connection.

Hi All,
after water damage and a huge repair estimate from Apple want to sell a MBP (A1706) for spare parts as defect on ebay.
Before selling I want to remove the hard drive / ssd. I opened the MBP but I really can't locate the hard drive / ssd. Also found no videos or only videos for 2016 version where the SSD was very easy to locate. But not in the 2017 version I have here.
Can someone help?

@timings - Take a look at Step 4 the Red chips are the flash chips that hold the data MacBook Pro 13" Touch Bar 2017 Teardown.
Sadly, there is no means to remove the flash chips (the storage side of what an SSD would have). But there is a way to access the data! But you need a special tool that an Apple Store should have, but as the call for it as died many got rid of the tool. Some independents have them. Here on the logic board just on the other side (left in the picture is a long silver connector. This is the Lifeboat connector which allows access via a cable to a second MacBook to salvage the data if it’s not encrypted. If it is, the data can be wiped.
