I had pushed so hard on the screen for about 2 years it became darkened with blotches and dark streaks. I could no longer read or see the screen info below the Blotches. I tried to heat remove and loosen up the glass from the display only after I had charged it for 48 hours straight with the screen left on. Yes it got very hot but would not separate its self. So I found iFixit.com on youtube looking for answers and how to repair videos and just as important OEM PARTS!!! :)

It went very well except i had to end up wearing my driving glasses with my bi focal glasses over them to see how to put back the tiny ass screws lol lmao. :) Glad I purchased the best tools. Like the Sim Card remover, iPhone test Strip, Magnetic Mat in which I cut up and put the squares into the Static Free Project Tray that was really cool lol Sure glad I got the Marco Bit Set the little phillips I got with the phone assembly kept on losing magnetic abilities that was a pain in the BUTT. lol any way :) The little suction cup that came with the repair kit way not doable my iPhone 5 was glued like a rock. Glad i purchased the iSlack it worked perfectly. the anti-static brush small worked perfect to clean the dust away and clean up before case closure. It was simple and easy with the right tools wish i could have afforded the magnification lamp lol. Thank you iFixit your web site will have to get my size of shirts " 3xxx " so I can brigg on you all. lol I would not have a like new iPhone 5 NOW if it were not for you. Thank you again, Terry.

Yes, make sure to spend the little extra for the best tools to ensure the proper repair without damages and greef and time consuming eye strain. lmao lol :) would not let me add a photo i tried dragging uploading but no cigar lol
