Successfully changed my logic board on my MBP early 2011, but now.....

My MBP early 2011 suffered of graphic card failure and therefore I had to replace the whole Logic Board.

Since I have regarded ifixit as a bible for DIY works I have decided to purchase a logic board from this site and have it sent all the way to India, where I am temporary living.

The repair went pretty smoothly since I have already changed other components inside my mac, like keyboard, HD, secondary HD and so on.

However since I have swapped the faulty IO board with the new one, my battery stop working for some reason.

It shows that it is not available and I am currently going through all the tricks in the book to resume its functionality. Unfortunately nothing has moved forward ever since and I am just growing more and more frustrated.

I have sent some emails to the customer service here, but considering that we are under Xmas time, I would expect to receive some answers only after the festivities.

Personally I don't want to spend more money into it, since the battery has been replaced no more than 6/8 months ago and I don't want to dare to think that the new IO board that I have just installed is faulty somewhere.

If any of you savvies out there got any advice to give, please come forth since I have to deliver some important jobs during these days and my machine doesn't respond as it should be.
