Last September I shared some red wine with my small MacBook Air 11". After unplugging and opening it, I realized the battery was completely drunk ;) The right speaker was "borracho" as well.
The speaker exchange was as easy as iFixIt guides can help us get it. Unfortunately the Battery was broken on arrival, which probably occurred during the shipping from California to France. This was unfortunate, but what really surprised me was the prompt contact by an iFixIt manager, who offered the immediate reimbursement, as a new Battery was not available.
Regarding the repair itself I think the iFixIt guides do a perfect job. Getting the pentalobe screwdriver is a must, though.
I would suggest to tighten the shipping packed with more bubble plastic and shock absorbing material, even though the broken battery package seemed as it had been stepped over.
The most important suggestion: Trust iFixIt awesome customer relationship policy!
