If you don't have that then a couple dabs of wheel bearing grease will work. If the O-ring (quad seal) swelled up so much it doesn't fit in the groove anymore then clean it off let it dry off in the sun and see if it contracts. If it doesn't, get a new quad seal . Oil makes rubber expand so that's what causes the seal to pop out of the groove. Then tighten the screws evenly around the derby cover til its tight.
