this is purely dependent on whether you have the correct size screw driver or if the threading has gone in the screws. if its a case that the threading has gone you’ll need to create tension in the screen before using a magnet or a pentelope screwdriver to pull the screws out of place.
Hi there try this, Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button simultaneously until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. Do not release the buttons when you see the Apple logo because you will need to enter recovery mode first. You will then be prompted with the option to Restore or Update. When holding the buttons down it should take around the 20 second mark.
