Hi from reading all the comments sounds like sjrc is having software/hardware issues for the WiFi camera module. Seems like newer phones are not receiving the WiFi signal. My advice is try using an older phone to confirm this incompatibility issue. Return your sjrc drone if possible and do some review research on other drone brands. I personally own PROMARK, PROPEL, SYMA. No problems connecting WiFi to all my mobile devices and tablets.

The P70 Shadow drone has motor protection feature which will shut down power to the motors should they come into contact with an object. You must do a factory gyro reset to regain motor operation. Hi I have used 91% Isopropyl alcohol to clean the main circuit board on several high end car audio amplifiers with great results. It is non conductive and safe to use on electronics circuit boards providing that thorough drying time is allowed for the alcohol to completely evaporate. Avoid using rubbing alcohol due to it's additives and higher percentage of water content. If you can find 99% Isopropyl alcohol that is the best alternative to using expensive specialty electronics cleaning agents. Some plastics, buttons, plexiglass surfaces can fail or discolor so be sure to separate the plastic case display screen and buttons when cleaning the components main circuit board. If your device had water exposure it is best to of course remove the power source and immediately clean the main circuit board with 91-99% Isopropyl alcohol doing this will remove residue from the water exposure preventing corrosion.

You had stated that “the camera works fine" if it did you would be connected to the drone and see the camera view on your mobile device. Scott it could be the battery is not getting a good charge? Use a USB charger that is minimum 2.0amps. Is the battery bubbling up? If yes then the battery is bad. When inserted into the drone does the battery LED lights up when you press the on button? If yes then there maybe a connection issue with the contacts. If you have a volt meter check the battery terminals for voltage while pressing the power button. If voltage is present then internal wiring and or the main board is failed.
