I've been working with computer systems almost my entire life. My first computer was an atari 800 xl. In 1988 i started my venture in computer systems. At the age of 8yrs old I was troubleshooting my personal computer, and was developing HTML in 1989. I started with the windows3.1 system and my first hack was top score on mine sweeper. Since then I have matured along with the personal computer systems. I now have over 23 years experience troubleshooting computers hardware and software systems. I have been exposed to circuit board repair since 1996, which inspired me to go into the Professional IT field. I am a robotic hobbyist and do both the hardware and software ( basic and C ) engineering of robotic applications and system automation ( Industrial PLCs ). I am fluent in MS windows 3.1 to Windows 7 professional, Linux fedora redhat 6-7, ubuntu 9-11. I am proficient in troubleshooting the majority of software on the market today including but not limited to Microsoft office suites, Autodesk software solutions, adobe dreamweaver 6 to adobe software collection CS5, including adobe livecycle design. I've worked on every computer brand name including Panasonic toughbooks. I have service manuals to every toughbook but a waiver was signed during the training course, so I can not place them here. "How to diagnose non-working monitor connects to outside monitor" için yanıtPlease check your settings. the last time you connected and setup an external monitor you could have set it to "external only". this would darken your laptop monitor and only show screen on external view. i had an older hp dv2700 which did this to me. Update: even when i unplugged the external monitor it still remembered the setting and would not auto-switch back to the laptop's LCD display.

Update: you should not have to disassemble to check hardware. there are software tools like SIW for windows. Update: remove the RTC battery and the main battery, then unplug you computer and depress the power button for 30-60 seconds this should reset the cmos there are also posts locates at ic 61, 63 shorting these will perform a cmos reset as well.
"Why is my cf-29 toughbook not charging?" için yanıtYou can test your charger under load if you have some 10W ceramic resisters, the kind used in thermostats ( they look like a white block with wire leads coming from each end. ) place one end of the resister lead on your negative side of the charging dc barrel plug and the other end of the resister to the negative post of your multimeter. and the other positive post of the multimeter in the middle of the barrel connector. then place your multimeter to read amperage. look at the big square part of the adapter and read the label on the back. it will show the amperage level it can produce, next look at your battery and see its charging amperage draw. compare the draw to the reading on your multimeter.
