I had a similar problem with my Honda, about the same vintage (1994). Lets get more info. My issue was temperature dependent. - cold would start, hot would start, warm would not start. It sounds like your issue may be temperature dependent also, starts hot, does not start cold, does not start warm. Is this correct? If that is the situation, you need to test each of the systems (when it is cold is a good place to start, and easy to repeat). The systems you need to test are fuel and spark. Lets start with spark, it is easiest. Go watch a youtube video about testing the spark on a 1994-1999 Subaru. Do not buy any equipment, just make sure ONE of the spark plug cables sparks to the block when you crank it (this is a 2-person job unless it is very dark). Use the easiest spark plug cable to get at, disconnect the spark plug end, put an old (or new) spark plug in it, and lay the plug on the engine block so the metal part of the plug touches the metal of the block. Make sure you keep the spark plug away from the...
Devamını okuThe best solution is probably to buy an external USB DVD drive and install using that. Then you can use Disk Tools after booting from the OS X Install DVD. This guy has even more good ideas: https://www.aioboot.com/en/mac-os-extended-journaled-apfs/ If you really want to do it the hard way you can do this: To boot your Mac to a thumb drive (USB Flash), try this: https://www.howtogeek.com/213396/how-to-boot-a-linux-live-usb-drive-on-your-mac/ Once you boot into Puppy 8 Linux, use GParted to initialize and partition the drive. I suggest creating 3 partitions, one to mount at / (for OSX), one to mount at /home (for all of your files), and one for the swap drive (2x RAM + 1GB). If you do that, you can install OSX on one partition, and then install the next version, or reinstall OSX, without losing any of your files. This article should help (includes instructions on converting Mac OS Extended partitions to APFS): https://www.aioboot.com/en/mac-os-extended-journaled-apfs/ If you get stuck along the way, add...

When I did that, I found this: Dell VRC100-R Daughterboard Replacement That guide will show you both ribbon cables, and tell you how to detatch and re-attatch them to make sure they have good contact. Devamını okuI recently had this happen to my Nexus 6, so i can tell you a lot about what to look at. First thing to do is to reset the Power Chip. This process takes a while. First, run the battery down all the way, until the phone turns off. Then keep turning it on until it will not even start to boot (no lights, black screen). Let it sit that way for an hour or so. Then try to charge it. The only way to reset the Power Controller Chip is to completely drain the battery. I have had this fix one of my android phones which was not taking a charge via the Micro USB port. If the phone starts to take a charge, charge it up all the way and then shutdown (power off), wait a few minutes, and turn the phone on again. Completely draining the battery can leave some of the hardware in a bad state, but a power cycle should fix that. Is your phone a Samsung A70? Or am I seeing an ad for the A70 on this web page? If you have an A70, you do not have built-in wireless charging (Qi). If your phone is Qi capable, then get (or borrow) a...
Devamını okuYou need to turn it off. Remove the power chord. Remove the battery. Let it sit until it turns off. That should only take a second or two once the battery is removed. If it is an Apple machine which does not have a removable battery, it could take hours to run out of power. Once it is off Put the battery back in. Plug in to power. Turn on. Report back here, tell us what happened.
Devamını okuSince this gets hidden as a comment, I moved it here. Get all that dust & junk out of there! Yea! Use the freeze spray sparingly to lower the temp of a hot part 20F-30F degrees over a few seconds- you can do thermal damage blasting a very hot part with -30C (check the can for actual temp). One part at a time. I would steer you away from the cork. Silicon Sealer should work well. Give it a few days to cure, it outgasses bad. Working with liquid gasket is hard and messy. I suggest building a gasket using the loose part, a tube of silicon gasket (shower caulk is probably OK even, as long as it is silicon), a very flat surface, and wax paper. Prop the cover up so it does not crush the silicon. Make sure you use the waxy side of the wax paper - the wax stays on the silicon, the paper comes off, and you have a gasket. Clean the wax off before you glue it down or place it on the PC board. Try to make the new seal the same thickness as the old seal. If you need an adhesive, use a bit more silicon - it will come...
Devamını okuFirst thing to try is resetting the power management chip. Apple says: "The Power Manager is an integrated circuit (computer chip)...on the logic board of the PowerBook and iBook" Unplug power, remove the battery, hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Put the battery back in, plug in to power, turn on (single press of the power switch). If that fails, onward! There is a chance that the battery is helping to cause the problem. Any chance you could borrow another battery to try? Replacing the battery, or, even better, having it "re-celled". I can not find the link at the moment, I had one for a place which recells Mac batteries... Try press & hold <control><command><power> Release, wait several seconds, press power. http://support.apple.com/kb/TA25686 There are some reports of this working, probably for a different model Try <control><shift><power> Release, wait several seconds, press power. http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-31408-my-PowerBook-g4-will-not-turn-on Also - Press & hold power by itself for...
Devamını okuGo Maria! You have to get your hands dirty for this. Honestly, it is a bit of an undertaking. Hazardous fluids, grimy grease, you make not get all the oil off your hands for weeks. Buy some thin rubber gloves at the auto-parts store to prevent messin' up your hands too bad, they run about $2 a pair. If you have the Honda Shop manual, read the section on replacing the thermostat, and ignore anything I say which contradicts that. Honda knows best. About 1% of owners buy the factory shop manual, which can save many $1000s in repair bills... But the internet is, at times, better than a factory shop manual. Please read ALL of this before you start. Preferably twice, since some parts will make a lot more sense the second time. . INTRO Estimated time. If you have never done this, or any other work on your own car, this will probably take 4-6 hours. Be careful and safe. Eat before and during, you need your brain at full speed. DO NOT EAT THE COOLANT! IT IS POISON! If you do tune-ups on your car on a regular basis,...
Devamını oku[kod] There is something fishy in your OS, or the HD is getting cranky. Until we can boot the machine, it is hard to sort this out! ___________________ Try booting into Verbose mode so we can learn more. To boot up in Verbose mode: Reboot and hold down both <control> and V. Write down the last few lines of the humungus text output, and tell me about it here by editing your question, or by adding a comment to your question or to my answer. If I can not see anything obvious at the end of the boot log output, you may want to zap the PRAM. And there could be RAM issues - maybe setting the ram test to run at boot would help - If we could boot and get to terminal. Maybe remote debug, also not setup, dang. ___________ You can not boot to the OSX Install CD, so that removes a number of options. You can not boot to an external firewire drive, so that removes other options.
