I'm currently working at Experimax in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, as an Apple Certified Macintosh and Apple Certified iOS Technician! If you have any Apple related questions, feel free to mention me @jonaharagon in the answers forum and I can take a look!
I don’t only do Apple stuff though! I hold a CompTIA A+ certification as well, and have extensive knowledge of Windows software and Linux system administration.

"MacBook Pro 13 turns off while loading after tea spill" için yanıtYou’ve likely damaged/shorted the logic board, which will require professional microsoldering repair.
"about ordering the correct parts" için yanıtAssuming you’re talking about this part: iMac Intel 21.5" and 27" (Late 2009-Mid 2010) SSD Upgrade Bundle, it doesn’t really matter which one you purchase. The only difference between the two is the capacity iFixit offers them in. If you want 1TB you need to get the Micron drive, otherwise get the Crucial. The technology is basically the same.
"Replace my iPhone 8 Wifi Antenna?" için yanıtIf the antenna were broken you would still be able to get WiFi signal, it would just be very faint. If the WiFi option is grayed out entirely that indicates an issue with the WiFi chip on your logic board. You’ll need to find a microsoldering professional who can fix that chip for you, it isn’t a DIY project.
"What's the newest processor I can fit in this thing?" için yanıtYou cannot install anything newer than a 7th-generation CPU in this model. 8th and 9th generation processors require a Z370 chipset but the logic board in this iMac is a Z170. Additionally, the TDP of the newer processors is higher than what Apple supports, and typically the EFI on Apple boards locks the device to specific CPUs, so even if they were technically compatible they would most likely not be on Apple’s EFI “whitelist” anyhow. The best CPU upgrade you’re able to get on this machine is an i7-7700K (I believe you have an i7-7700 currently). The base clock on the 7700K is higher than the 7700, but honestly it’s probably not going to make a huge difference day-to-day (especially with Apple’s lackluster cooling solution). That being said the i7-7700 looks to be going for $200-$250 on eBay and the i7-7700K is around $250-$300, so if you can get a decent deal on buying and selling both and you want to go through a CPU replacement it might be a good deal. No more cores though :(
"E91:01 is flashing on the screen" için yanıtTry factory resetting the device: "main menu -> Settings -> Initialise -> Factory Reset." Otherwise I believe that issue is with either the flash or the battery. You can try turning off the camera, removing the battery, leaving the battery out for a few minutes, and then putting it back in and turning it on. Report back if that works for you :)
"My MacBook Pro screen flickers and glitches. (Images)" için yanıtDoes the screen start glitching like that immediately when you turn it on or only after a certain point on the loading bar? This looks to me like physical damage to the display, was it dropped or anything? You will most likely just need to replace that. You can do it yourself fairly easily but the part itself is typically well over $500, so it does end up being an expensive repair no matter where you go. MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Display Assembly Another thing that occurs to me is it could be the LCD cable that is damaged somehow. You could try replacing that instead (Part: MacBook Pro Retina (2012-2015) Display LVDS Cable): MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2013 LCD Cable Replacement — It’s a bit of a long-shot but it’s definitely a far cheaper repair so I would try it.
"Where to buy display assembly or how to replace internal LCD panel?" için yanıtYou won’t find the LCD panel for this display or instructions on how to disassemble it, because the display assembly is the LCD panel. The aluminum casing itself is the back casing of the LCD, and the front glass on the display is the LCD itself. Even iFixit couldn’t disassemble it much more than it already is without breaking the glass. You can learn more about how the panel is assembled and why you’re stuck with replacing the whole thing in their teardown guide: MacBook Pro Retina Display Teardown The iFixit pricing is a little on the expensive side but I wouldn’t call it unreasonable. Personally I buy displays from ProTech (https://www.protechrestore.com/index.php...) but I’m sure there are many options available. Basically, you’re stuck with buying the full assembly :)
"Pixel 3 has very low battery and stuck in a boot loop" için yanıtI would try booting into Fastboot (Power + Volume Down; Hold the Volume Down until it boots into Fastboot) and flashing a factory image. This will erase your data. If not, if you haven’t damaged your phone in any way a Pixel 3 has to still be covered under warranty… I’d get in touch with Google.
"Broken Trackpad Ribbon Cable Connector" için yanıtNow operating under the assumption your MacBook is a 2014/2013 model, I can’t seem to find any available online. Apple specific parts at least. If I were you I would go to Aliexpress and search for “18 pin FFC connector”, there’s going to be a bunch of generic options. It’s just a generic FFC cable and connector, so they should work. I don’t have the measurements on that connector at all (1mm? 0.5mm?) but you should be able to find a match. Edit: And by measurements, I mean pitch: "Pitch The spacing of the conductors. The pitch typically refers to the distance from the center of one conductor to the center of its neighboring conductor. A single FFC can have different pitches between different conductors on the same cable, however this is uncommon. FFC cables are available in many pitches, such as 0.500 mm, 0.625 mm, 0.635 mm, 0.800 mm, 1.00 mm, 1.25 mm, 1.27 mm, 2.00 mm, 2.54 mm, but the most common pitches are 0.500 mm and 1.00 mm."
"Broken Trackpad Ribbon Cable Connector" için yanıtNow I’m no microsoldering or logic board expert, I think you’re looking for a 48-pin trackpad connector (knowing how many pins you need definitely helps finding parts). The Apple product number for that part appears to be 516S1037 (or maybe also J4802) and the only seller I could find based on that information is https://beetstech.com/product/macbook-pro-retina-a1502-2015-trackpad-cable-connector. I have not heard of this company so obviously YMMV. Annoyingly, they don’t have product photos to confirm, but the listing looks good. The generic name for this connector is DF40BG-48DP-0.4V and you could probably find more results with that search term elsewhere, maybe Aliexpress or the like?
