I have taken my MacBook Pro to Apple, and have found that the problem was the accelerometer on my logic board, and it was replaced free. The hard drive didn't have a problem this time. Thanks.
Or, you can try LeopardAssist. No need for cloning anything. I tried that when trying to install Leopard on a friend's iMac G4 800 MHz. LeopardAssist at MacUpdate Just reset the PRAM after install. Hope this helps.
