Hello. It would depend on a couple of things. You can try to reset your SMC (System Management Controller). To do this, shut down your MacBook and connect your power adapter. Then hold down the CTRL, SHIFT, ALT/OPTIONS and Power buttons for about 4-5 seconds. Release them together and try to start up your device again. If the above does not work, you can check the state of your battery if its condition is still normal. Cheers!!

Hello. It might be a problem with the TV remote. Usually, giving it a little tap on your hand or lap (not hard enough to break it or spoil anything inside it, of course) should get it working. Or else, you can check if the batteries in the remote are still working well by putting it in another remote or device and seeing if it will work. If the batteries are not working, a new set of batteries should get your remote back in order. Cheers!!

If you have tried doing a Hard Reset and it still does not fix the black screen, you could try moving the motherboard over to your iPhone 5 [I am assuming you know VERY well how to do this….. though no harm since you’ve got another device ; ), right? ] If it STILL does not work at this point, I would recommend trying to get it to a local 3rd party repair store to check it out. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT TO APPLE UNLESS NEED REALLY BE. Cheers!!

Had the same thing happening, though only in the browser while doing two-finger scrolling with the touchpad. If used touchpad for other things (like click), or scrolled in some other app (like PDF reader), things were fine. Later found that using Wacom tablet was also causing the same issue. Found via a Wacom reddit post that resetting display card driver does the trick. Worked in my case. First tried to update Intel HD Graphics driver, but had some version incompatibility. So in Device Manager, went to Display Adapters, did "Disable device" for Intel HD Graphics (causes screen to flash etc, as it reverts to Microsoft's own basic driver). Restarted system, re-enabled driver (if you continue with the basic driver, games etc may not work), now things are fine.
