Does your machine start as soon as the pump stops? If so then you pump is fine and you may have a water level sensor out of place or defective, worse case is the control board.
It sounds like you had this unit for a while. If you hit the control knob or applied pressure many times, most likely you broken the solder joints. If you mechanically incline, open it up and look where the knob connects to the board. If you see the solder joints move any when you apply pressure to the knob, then you can try soldering it yourself. Home Depot or Lowes has a cheap small soldering iron. Otherwise toss it and replace it
Sounds like you replaced the Board many times. You may have pulled the thermostat wire some from the original position, if not then the thermostat Probe for the fridge side is bad. As for the water, it will happen after a defrost cycle, that is normal.
