I am a second-year Mechanical Engineering major at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. My technical skills include being proficient in programs such as MATLAB, SolidWorks, Excel, and Perforce, eDrawings.
I had an internship at Teledyne LeCroy over the summer in 2019 where I designed a device to stabilize and support interposers while they were being tested. I developed my design using the SolidWorks program and made a detailed drawing for the manufacturer. The device is now being used at the company for a more efficient and reliant way to test their interposers.
Here is a photo of the test fixture I created.
I am involved in the Robotics Club at Cal Poly. Our project is to construct an underwater robot designed to accomplish tasks and compete in the national MATE ROV competition. I work in a team of mechanical engineers who make parts for the robot and communicate with the computer and electrical engineering teams on how to actuate these parts to complete tasks.
I am a distance runner on Cal Poly’s Division I Cross Country and Track teams. Running is something I love to do and it has been an amazing opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. My teamwork experience from cross country and track has helped me a lot in the classroom, clubs, and at my internship.
