Greeting

Hi everyone! I am a Sophomore at the University of North Texas. My major is Mechanical Engineering Energy. I might say that my dad genetically passed the love of Engineering to me. My focus is on the recyclable energy field, specifically engines or manufacturings that can help reduce general pollution.

Some skills I have been equipped with are...

I gained most of my technology and computer science skills at the University of North Texas, such as SOLIDWORKS (a 3D design application), C++ programming, and MATLAB Stimullinks (a calculating program application). Besides that, me and my dad used to be on an electrical and plumbing repair team in the house as we fixed lightbulbs, our TV, and leaking pipes. So, I would say I’m somewhat experienced in mechanical jobs.

I also have research-critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, which you can find in my research about marine structures at the Science Fair 2021 – 2022. Not so relevant to my major, but I used to choreograph for my classmates to participate in a flash mob competition when I was 13. My class ended up having a gold medal for it, which made it one of my biggest achievements. I learned about leadership and interpersonal skills a lot since that day.

Sphynx time is my spare time...

I have a Sphynx cat. His name is Dube, pronounced as Du-bi. He’s a 4-month-old kitten with a lot of energy to run around the house and play with my pens. Playing with him is what I do in my spare time. One thing I know about Dube is that he likes to rub his face onto my skin to ask for food. I have to stop being lured to this action because he wants to eat too many times a day, which will make him diabetic eventually.
