Hello, my name is Karish Sritharan and I am a business major student at York University.

After completing my degree, I would like to apply my education and run my own business someday. Growing up, my parents ran a restaurant and over time, my siblings and I started helping around, which sparked an interest in the business field. I believe running a business would be fulfilling to me and I want to continue our family's business.

My first tank
I currently am into fish keeping and growing aquatic plant species. Which requires an understanding of the nitrogen cycle, water parameters, species behaviors, and extensive maintenance to successfully keep thriving fish and aquatic plants. I find this hobby fulfilling as I have always been interested in animals and plants as I spent my childhood growing up watching nature documentaries. Now, I have multiple tanks running and constantly keeping more and new fish and aquatic plants.

My very first computer that I built in 7th grade
My first hobby was actually building and setting up computers as I am into technology as well. I love researching and gather the compatible parts to build a nice powerful computer that can run any task I want to. I started building computers since I was in seventh grade, since then I have learnt to successfully build computers and as well as troubleshooting any issues that I run to. I always get asked from friends and family to help fix their personal computers quite often and would say it is a huge part of who I am. One of my first jobs was at Best Buy and I was working in the computing solutions department in sales. I loved that job as I enjoyed helping others finding or building a computer catered to their specific needs. As I was knowledgeable in this field, it was a super fun and easy job because I loved sharing knowledge about something I was passionate about.
