On model G 1017 233103, which is a Japanese model, there are a whopping total of 15 screw before you can disassemble the board. The first 2 screw are the triangle shaped Apple type, you can access them by sliding the bottom base like you change the batteries. After you need to pry out the sliding base on the left and right sides with a flat tool (mind not to crack the plastic clips). Next you have access to 6 Philips screws, after removing them you can pry out the inner bottom case. The board is held by 7 Philips short screw with a larger head that looks like a washer. If you spilled a sweet drink on the remote board, use water to clean the sticky gunk (alcohol won't work). Make sure you dry the board with an hair drier before reassemble it.
