"My tablet doesn't charge properly" için yanıtThe Playbook is known to have some power and charging issues. The troubleshooting guide actually covers a lot of them, if you want to give it a look. The most common issue seems to be a weak charging port. If you insert your charger the wrong way (which is a common problem with all USB connectors...), it can bend or break the charging port. People report success with manually realigning the port to level it out. Before you get into that, I'd look at some of the baselines. Are your charging port and charging connector free of debris? Buildup of dirt or dust could prevent the charger from aligning properly or could block a connection. Also, is your charger working properly? Try wiggling the wire, particularly at the ends (right near the connector and the plug, two places most likely to be bent) and see if you can get a sustained connection. If you can, try a different charger altogether, maybe one for your phone. If all that still doesn't work, then maybe it's time to consider bending the port back into place.
"I don't like the loud sound when I type." için yanıtThis keyboard has Cherry MX Switches, a type of mechanical switch which, admittedly, can get pretty loud. Do you know what sort of switch you have? The greens and blues can get quite loud, and the browns are nothing to scoff at, either. You should know that as you become used to the keyboard, you learn where in the stroke the key is triggered and can stop after that point. Much of the noise in a mechanical keyboard comes from bottoming out the keys when you're still inexperienced with their feel. As you grow more used to the keys, this will change. If the noise is still too much to bear, you can buy o-rings for them. They dampen the sound at the cost of affecting the feel of the keys (and the travel distance). Some people love them, though, and they seem pretty effective at toning down load mech switches.
"What should I do if I dropped my tablet in the water?" için yanıtFirst, turn off the device immediately. There's a chance nothing is wrong yet, but if water seeps in while the tablet is still running, it might short and fry a circuit. So, turn off the power and make sure there's no electricity flowing in those circuits. If you need to use your tablet "asap," you might be out of luck. The safest way to ensure your Playbook keeps working might take some time. I recommend you find some uncooked rice or silica packets (the little packets labeled "Do not eat" that you get in things like new backpacks) and encase your tablet in that. This will serve to absorb the water. Leave it like this for some time, preferably an afternoon or a couple hours at least. After a while, take the device out of the rice/silica and disassemble it. You're going to go hunting for leftover water and anything left behind when the water evaporated. Check the circuit boards, battery, and electronics for traces of water and clean them off with a cotton swab or microfilter cloth and isopropyl alcohol....
"Where do I get a new screen?" için yanıtIt looks like Amazon has the parts you need. If it's just a cracked screen (only the glass has broken but the panel underneath is intact), then you should get this($20 as of this writing). If the screen underneath has issues too, you might need one of these ($18 right now). If you're not sure about the issue or if the screen just isn't turning on, the troubleshooting guide might be able to help.
