Husqvarna models from 2009 onwards have an Autotune feature which automatically calibrates the carburetor. If you are running your saw in new weather conditions or at a different elevation, follow the steps to correctly tune the carb:
Reset Husqvarna Autotune
For low idle settings, start the saw.
- Let it run for a few seconds to warm and then kick off the high idle by pulling the throttle.
- Start a three minute timer. At the end of three minutes your idle should be tuned.
High Speed Procedure
For the high speed or full throttle reset, you'll have to make a large or long cut.
- Bury the tip of the bar a few inches and run a six foot cut.
- About 20 seconds in, you may hear the engine tune and significantly change frequencies during operation. Continue the cut for 45-60 seconds.
Your saw is tuned. If it doesn't sound correct, verify it has the correct firmware installed.
Husqvarna service technicians can perform a master reset, though these resets shouldn't be done unless the AutoTune unit has been set incorrectly to compensate for a mechanical failure in the engine, e.g. a broken intake rubber, a cracked muffler, a missing or clogged air filter, or after a major repair of the engine or fuel system.
Bir Yorum
Hi Nico,
Thanks for this brilliant instruction. 2 questions: Is it suitable to autotune 3.0? In the full throttle reset: 45 - 60 sec on top when I hear the motor tuning or is 45?- 60 sec total time?
