If the ears of your HyperX CloudX Flight headphones won’t output any sound to the user, follow this troubleshooting guide.
Sound Settings are Turned Down
It’s possible that the device your headphones are connected to has its sound turned down, or your headphones have their volume set to minimum.
- Go to the audio settings of your device (Laptop, Console, etc.) and make sure they do not read 0. If they do, raise their sound settings and see if you are getting audio.
- Your headphones could be muted. Find the volume wheel located on the right ear and try turning it in the direction of the symbol of a speaker with a + sign.
Your Headphones are Not Connected to the Device
It could be that your headphones are not Bluetooth connected to your desired device.
- This is most easily tested by checking if the device you’re connected to is outputting audio instead of your headphones.
- Make sure your USB adapter that was included in the package is plugged into the desired device. If it is already, make sure to is not loose.
- If that did not work, make sure your device is paired to the adapter properly. The process for this is listed below.
- Make sure the headset is powered off. Plug the USB adapter into your device.
- Use a small pin to press the small button located in a small hole on one side of the USB adapter. After 3 seconds, it should begin to blink.
- Press and hold the headset power button for 10 seconds to enter pairing mode. The headset LEDs should begin to blink.
- After the USB adapter and headset LEDs stay a solid light, they are now paired.
Your Headphones Speakers are Damaged
If the above solutions did not work, it is possible that the speakers in one or both of the ears are damaged.
- This is most easily proven if only one ear is not outputting audio or if you can hear very faint sounds or crackles when it should be outputting.
- If this is the case, it would be suggested to see if your headphones fall under a warranty from the company.

- If you do not have a warranty, your last option is to attempt to replace the speakers yourself. It is suggested to follow an online guide for this process.
