Impact Driver not Working
I have trouble starting the drill.
Control switch is not in the lock position
On the left side of the drill, there is a control switch at the top of the handle. When the button is in the lock position the drill will not perform. You need to press the control switch on the right side of the drill for it to move in a forward clockwise motion or on the left side fort to move in a reverse counterclockwise motion.
Faulty battery pack
If the drill is not performing, check the battery pack at the bottom of the handle to confirm the battery is inserted correctly and locks into place with the latch fully engaged. If your battery pack is not properly charged the drill will not operate.
Button Electronics
The internal button contacts can become covered in grease which appears to seep from other parts of the mechanism. The brown trigger contactor assembly can be carefully disassembled (it has several plastic tabs and no screws), and then the contact area can be cleaned with alcohol. To take apart this piece you must unlatch several tabs simultaneously.
Trigger will not move
When I apply pressure on the trigger it does not move at the speed the other direction does.
Control switch is stuck
If the mechanism within the drill is slightly off you can toggle back and forth between directions on the control switch to reset the mechanism.
Internal lock mechanism is bent
Remove the battery pack from the drill. Carefully pull apart the two sides of the handle one with the cover while the other side holds the internal mechanisms for the drill. If it is difficult to pull apart there could be some settled sawdust that prevents it from opening;, be gentle and pull apart slowly. Remove the plastic control piece and use a vise to keep the piece in place. Then using a heat gun warm up the plastic to make it malleable. Be careful not to melt the control piece! Using needle-nose pliers, then straighten the guard on the control piece. Replace control piece when you feel it is straight, then replace the other side of the handle. Replace the battery pack and test the trigger in each direction.
The trigger will not work in reverse
When I switch directions the drill does not move.
Faulty battery pack
If the drill is not performing check the battery pack at the bottom of the handle to check it is inserted correctly and locks into place with the latch fully engaged. If your battery pack is not properly charged the drill will not operate.
Debris in the switch
Over time, the drill can collect sawdust and stone materials. Therefore, it is important to check your control switch for debris that could be lodged in the cracks.
Internal lock mechanism is bent
Remove the battery pack from the driver. Carefully pull apart the two sides of the handle: one with just be the cover and the other side holding the internal mechanisms for the power tool. Remove the plastic control piece and use a vise to keep the piece in place. Then using a heat gun warm up the plastic to make it malleable. Be careful not to melt the control piece! Bit will not lock in
When inserting a bit into the Hex drill chuck it will not stay in place.
Drill chuck is loose
To ensure proper attachment of accessory bits, press the shank into the Hex drill chuck.
LED light stays on at all times
LED light stays on after releasing the trigger.
Faulty wire
There is a wire shortage on the LED assembly within the drill, so you must order service part number 69, which is the electronics assembly.
5 Yorum
Electronics assembly is $59, is there a work-around for the light not turning off?

Driver is making a noise but doing nothing

Fill battery but the driver has lost most of its torque. It cannot drive a # 8 wood screw into a 2x4
