Keys Not Working
Some of the keys, including the hold and power buttons, will occasionally not respond to several clicks or the keys would respond with the wrong letter.
Soft Reset

Take Out Battery
This usually applies to those experiencing problems with the keyboard immediately after updating to 1.4. Just take out the battery, wait 5 minutes, and put it back in. Palm Pre Battery Replacement

WebOS Doctor
Go to http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/WebO... and scroll down until you find your provider (i.e. Sprint) and the version of your Palm Pre (i.e. 1.4.0). Click the link next to your version and follow the steps to apply the WebOS doctor to your Pre.
Soft Reset
Push the reset button.
Hard Reset
Open device info, tap phone reset options, tap Full Erase twice (NOTE: You must still manually delete installed apps, as they reappear after a full erase)
If desired, sign back into your Palm profile on the phone to restore your Palm profile data.
Loose Battery
Place a small piece of paper along the top edge of the battery to keep the metal contacts on the opposite end pressed tight. A small index card folded in half seems to work. Or if that's too bulky, rip off a piece of the index card and use instead. Cardstock also works. Palm Pre Battery Replacement
GPS Problems
Unresponsive GPS Fix #1
Just follow these steps:
1. Turn off "Google Locations Services" (so that just GPS is on)
2. Turn on the Wi-Fi radio - even if you are out of range of any Wi-Fi service.
3. Open the Phone card and type ##477# to get your current location.
If it doesn't fix the problem the first time, try it again.

Unresponsive GPS Fix #2
1. Go into location services, go to top left menu preferences and turn Google Services off. For this one time only also turn GPS off.
2. Turn off your phone completely (power down) and then remove battery. Give it a few seconds and put battery back on. Battery removal is a MUST as I think doing so completely clears your RAM. (Don't worry your info or data won't go nowhere)
3. Turn your phone on
4. Turn GPS on from Location Services (Don't turn on Google Services, just GPS)
5. Download and run Trapster.
