Side Plate Will Not Connect and Side Buttons Will Not Register

The side plate of the mouse will not fully connect to the body of the mouse and the buttons on the side panel do not function when pressed.

Magnets Will Not Make a Full Connection

Magnets may not be making a full connection between the side plate and the body of the mouse. Remove the side plate entirely and reattach the side plate properly. If there is still poor physical connection issues between the panel and body, remove the side plate and check and see if both magnets inside the panel are still present (One larger circular magnet on the anterior side of the inside of the mouse and a smaller square magnet located on the posterior interior of mouse). If magnet(s) are missing, contact Razer’s customer support for magnet replacements or purchase a new side panel.

Interior of the Side Plate or Mouse Body is Dirty

A dirty interior of the connection segment of the mouse possesses the ability to disrupt the connection between the side panel and the body of the mouse. Remove the side panel of the mouse and remove any noticeable debris. Gently clean both the body of the mouse and the side panel with a cotton swab or microfiber cloth. Make sure to also lightly clean the gold electrical connection surfaces to ensure there is no physical barrier between the sender and receiver for the side panel buttons.

LED Won’t Illuminate (Mouse Driver & Synapse 3 Software)

The Razer Naga Trinity’s LED light-up function that lights up the scroll wheel and parts of the side panel does not work.

The Mouse Driver is Out of Date

If the mouse driver is out of date, the LED lights may not turn on. Unplug the mouse and uninstall the mouse driver. Reinstall the driver and make sure you are installing Synapse 3.

The LED Within the Mouse is Non-Functional

The LED light inside the mouse may not work or maybe non-functional regardless of driver or software issues. Contact Razer customer support to have the LED parts replaced.

Left and Right Main Buttons Will Not Click

The left and right click buttons of the mouse do not function when they are clicked.

The Mouse Driver is Out of Date

Sometimes the mouse will not left or right click if the mouse driver is out of date. Unplug the mouse and uninstall the mouse driver. Reinstall the driver and make sure you are installing Synapse 3. Update or reinstall the mouse driver/configuration software through Razer Synapse here.

Your Computer’s Software is Not Up To Date

The mouse may be unresponsive to clicks if your PC does not have the proper software that the mouse needs to operate. Unplug the mouse, update your PC’s software, and reconnect the mouse.

 The USB is Not Working

If the USB is not working or if the cord is not fully connected, the buttons on the mouse will not work. Unplug the mouse cord and plug it into another USB port for better connection.

Scroll Wheel is Sticking

The Naga Trinity does not respond to scroll wheel movements or responds too slowly.

Mouse Driver is Not Up to Date

The scroll wheel may stop working if the mouse driver you are using is out of date or not updated. Unplug the mouse and uninstall the mouse driver. Reinstall the driver and make sure you are installing Synapse 3.

Scroll Lock is Turned On

If your scroll lock is turned on, the scrolling function of the mouse will not work. Some computers have a scroll lock key. If your computer has a scroll lock key, try pressing the key to turn it off. If your computer does not have a scroll lock key, you can turn it on and off manually. Go to start>settings>ease of access> keyboard. Find the ScrLck button on the keyboard page and click it to turn it on and/or off.

 Scroll Wheel Cavity is Dirty

With time and use of the mouse, debris may get lodged in the scroll wheel cavity making the wheel hard to use. To solve this problem, remove the scroll wheel and with a clean cotton swab or microfiber cloth, clean the wheel and the debris in the cavity.

Optical Sensor Drift

The Naga Trinity mouse does not respond to movements.

Mouse is Disconnected

It is possible that the Naga Trinity mouse is disconnected from your laptop. Reconnect the mouse to your computer.

Optical Sensor Has Dirt or dust on it

Naga Trinity mouse’s optical sensor possibly has dirt or grime in it blocking the sensor from detecting movement. Use a clean cotton swab to clear and clean the sensor of any dirt or grime.

Mouse’s software is not downloaded on the computer

The Naga Trinity mouse is not connecting to the system because the system version is not up to the mouse’s standards. The Naga Trinity requires Razer Synapse 3 Software which is compatible with Windows 7 or higher for PC or Mac OS X 10.9 or higher for Mac. It is recommended that an update is applied to the system or return the mouse if unable to update the system to the compatible requirements. It is also possible that the Naga Trinity Synapse 3 is not downloaded and installed to the system. Install the mouse driver/configuration software through Razer Synapse here.

I am still having issues with this. It does not make sense to me because one of my side panels works (the one with two buttons) however, I have only ever used the circular seven button one prior. The reason this is so confusing and frustrating to me is that it is recognized as being plugged in. The buttons light up, and it appears in synapse. ONE of the three works, but it isnt the one I use. I have tried cleaning it, but know that would not be the issue anyways because one of them works, and the other two dont. As I mentioned I have only ever used the seven button attachment, and it worked fine until two or three days ago. I have scoured the internet and not found a single solution. I have tried the following: restarting my PC. Looking for driver updates for the mouse. Looking for software update for synapse. Uninstalling mouse from PC. Uninstalling Synapse. Reinstalling both. Nothing has worked. The only panel working is the two button one, which I personally find useless. Disappointed to pay $70 for junk.

I am having issues with the 12 button panel. The panel will get recognized as the 2 button panel instead and the light color on the panel will get out of sync with the light color on top of the mouse. Removing the panel and replacing it will sometimes enable the buttons but it will revert to recognizing the 2 button panel while in the middle of playing a game. I haven’t seen anything that is causing this issue, but it happens multiple times within a few hours of gaming.

I am having issues with my Naga Trinity. When clicking with the left mouse button, it will either not register at all, or register as a double click sometimes.
