If the device is not holding its charge when plugged into a charger, the charger jack or the USB cable may be faulty. If there is difficulty accessing applications such as itunes or internet searches, it is probable that the device is not connected to the proper network. Be sure that the device is connected to the correct wifi network.

Often, when there is an issue with connecting the device to wifi, it is because the bluetooth is not turned on. Turning on the bluetooth enhances the connectivity between the device and the server.
