No audio or sound coming from phone
The phone will not play any audio or the audio is too quiet at full volume.
Software needs to be updated
A phone can usually function poorly if it isn’t updated to the newest software. Check this by going to settings > about device > software updates > check for updates. If you see an option to update, choose the newest one and wait for the download to complete.
A setting may have disabled the audio
Enable the sound by sliding your finger down from the top of the screen to open the drop down menu. Select the speaker icon and enable it if it has a slash over it or move the bar to the right side for maximum volume (there may be multiple bars such as ringtone, notifications, and other media). Enable the ones you want. You can also do this in the settings app by going to settings > sound > volume and adjust the volume there.
The phone may be bugged
If your phone randomly turned off its sound then it may be a bug or a glitch in the system, not every piece of software is perfect. Restart the phone by holding down the power button and click “restart” if there is an option then wait a bit and turn it back on by clicking the power button again.
The phone thinks it’s in headphone mode
If you can still listen to the audio with earphones on and the volume bar only works for the speaker then the phone may have glitched and thinks that it is in headphone mode. To fix this, insert the headphones into the headphone jack several times to combat this bug, it may fix the problem if it was only a glitch in the system.
The phone thinks it’s in Bluetooth mode
There can be a bug where the phone is still connected to a Bluetooth speaker or other device even if that device was turned off. Go to settings and turn Bluetooth off to fix this problem.
There may be dirt or dust in your headphone jack
Test the audio with earphones to see if you hear anything using this method. If you do not hear sound while using earphone even with full volume then your phone may have some dirt or water in it’s headphone jack.
Use a Q-Tip but first remove some cotton from it so it can fit in the jack. Clean the headphone jack with the modified Q-Tip in order to remove dust or soak up any water that may have been caught in the jack.
If the sound continues to not work, the headphone jack may be water damaged or broken. You may need to replace the speaker yourself or have a professional replace the component.

Not enough storage on your phone

Software Problem
Try charging your phone for a while, the device won’t start up quickly if the battery is completely dead. Wait until it’s fully charged to see if it powers back on.
If that doesn’t work, try changing a different charger. See if the problem is not with the charger or even the power outlet.
If that still doesn’t work, you might have to restore your device. Check to see if your device has an easily installable firmware images, which you can install manually.

Faulty Power Source
It’s possible that the power outlet is malfunctioning or not active. Try plugging the device into another socket, or from your computer. If your device charges from a different source, you have found the solution.
Faulty Wall Adapter
Check that the USB port and the adapter are not damaged or disconnected. If you access to another adapter, try connecting it to the USB port.
Skewed USB Socket
There is a small metal connector inside the USB socket that can sometimes be bent. To repair this, begin by turning off your phone and removing your battery. Then, take a small pin and straighten the small tab inside. Return the battery, turn on the phone, and then try charging again.
Faulty Battery
Batteries sometimes begin to leak battery acid or bulge as they age; this would be a major indicator that it needs to be replaced. If you can, remove the battery with the proper tools. If this is not possible, take the device to a repair shop.
Software Out-Of-Date
If you find that your charging problem started around the time of a software update, you may need to downgrade to an older version of the operating system. Keep in mind that newer updates are optimized for security, so proceed with caution. Alternatively, you may need to update your software to a newer format.

I updated software but while updating the logo began flashing and the phone became unresponsive. I took out the battery to shut it off, but when I put it back in the screen now flashes coloured snow. What is wrong with it and how do I fix it?
