Samsung ST76 Troubleshooting

Your camera does not turn on.

Make sure the battery is fully charged.

Make sure the battery is inserted correctly into camera.

After the battery is fully charged and placed in the camera, close the battery compartment and turn the camera on. If this does not work, consider replacing the battery with a new one.

Your camera's zoom lens does not extend or retract properly.

Examine the lens for dirt or dust particles that may be restricting movement. Blow into the crevices to attempt to remove.

Turn the camera completely off, and then back on again. Rebooting your camera may fix your stuck lens. If this does not work, there may be a motherboard issue. See how to replace your motherboard here.

Your flash button is unresponsive.

Press the flash button and hold it down firmly.

Examine the button crevices for dirt or dust particles that may be affecting function. Blow or shake out the possible debris, then press the button firmly again. If this does not work, the flash may need to be replaced. See how to replace your flash here.

Your camera's visibility is impaired by an unclear or cracked lens.

If there appears to be dirt on the lens, gently wipe it away with a lens cleaning cloth.

If your camera lens is cracked, it will limit the functionality. It is highly recommended that you replace you camera lens if this occurs.

Your screen is unreadable, unresponsive, or cracked.
