I was wondering if anyone has attempted to connect a VGA cable to thunderbolt cable and if you know if its easy. I have thunderbolt cable that is damaged on one end (chair rolled over it and now it doesn't work)and i want to hard wire into a VGA cable (got a bunch of these so don't care if a damage a few in process) so I can still use this expensive thunderbolt cable to connect to an old VGA monitor.
