SX10IS Corroded battery damaged the contacts

The battery door was stuck.  I manged

to coax it open after a long ordeal with a tiny screwdriver.   Battery leak had damaged the terminals on the inside of that door.  I cleaned them as well as I could but one of them is very badly corroded.  It easily detatched  fro the door but won’t fit securely back.  Can I replace the door itself?
