Scott it could be the battery is not getting a good charge? Use a USB charger that is minimum 2.0amps. Is the battery bubbling up? If yes then the battery is bad. When inserted into the drone does the battery LED lights up when you press the on button? If yes then there maybe a connection issue with the contacts. If you have a volt meter check the battery terminals for voltage while pressing the power button. If voltage is present then internal wiring and or the main board is failed.
