Ok I just tried the freezer thing and it worked!!! Put in freezer inside a plastic Ziploc bag left unsealed as I figured the dry air theory wouldn't work if sealed. Did the hold power button 8 seconds it then started as normal. So happy:) for ref gopro hero2. Thanks everyone in this thread for sharing your knowledge.
