My Mac G5 1.8gz will not boot up.

My Mac G5 1.8gz will not boot up. My mouse quit working and I had a message saying "Not connected" so I turned off the computer by pressing the on/off button. When I tried turning the G5 back on all I get is a white screen to a blue screen. OSX comes for a couple of seconds and then goes out leaving blue screen on both monitors I have on this computer. Only 2 gigabites of ram (4 pairs of 512)

First remove and replace the video card hooking up only one monitor. While the computer is open remove and reseat the memory.

1. See if you boot properly. If yes hook the second monitor back up. Do you still boot properly? If not you probably need a new video card.

2. If you didn't boot properly for step one try removing the memory -- first one pair and then the other. Did this fix the problem? If so replace the bad memory.
