Where to get the parts?
now that i know how to fix my 1400 all i need is the parts. cant find any. im looking to get a new printhead and possibly a power supply board

Anthony, for the printhead, contact this seller or you might check on here. the power supply board is part number 2093972 and is available right here,and special order from here. Hope this helps, good luck.

I called Compass Micro and they begrudgingly(recommended authorized repair place) gave me part # and how much it would cost

So i am trying to find another one of these? Its a clear tape like strip that runs behind the ink cartridge of my epson stylus 1400 and my son pulled it and it ripped off and now the cartridge carrier just flies across teh printer and crashes into the other side which makes me think it was something to do with how it measures the distance or something!! any ideas of how i find a replacement and how to install would be soooooo much appreciative.
