WONT TURN ON after spilling alcohol

You need to remove the logic board from the machine and clean it. Remove the ram and the heatsink. Let the board soak for half an hour in a plastic tub with hot water and dishwashing detergent. When the board is not corroded I don't use isopropyl alcohol. The beer residue need to dissolve in hot water. After half and hour of soaking, take a new thootbrush and clean the board with it. Be carefull to not flex the board while brushing it. Rince the board with demineralised treated water, use a spray bottle to do it. You need to evacuate all water and soap from the board so take your time and rince it a lot.

Let the board dry vertically positionned in a warm place. The board should be ready to install after 24 hours but lets say 48 hours if you want to be sure. Once the board is cleaned check it carefully with a magnified loupe. Check for missing components or burn spots. Check the LVDS connector, the 30 pins must be intact otherwhise the backlight system could be damaged. Il the macbook doesn't start after the logic board installation then the top case, the power switch or the DC in board could be damaged...Report here.
