Oil leak on engine in my 2001 GT3000 mower
For some reason my engine drain plug keeps leaking. Why?

Ron Bridenback, could be a few reasons for that. If it leaks from the drain plug, check for any cross threads, stripped threads, or cracked housing. You could consider either to use teflon tape around the plug, or to use a felt washer. Make sure that the torque for the plug it right. do not over tighten it.
