the metal part of the charger in the phone has come out.I need to know if it can be repaired or does it have to be replaced.is there an ifixit guide for the breakdown of the blackberry curve 8520 and a guide for the replacement or repair of the charger

paul murray, Here is a decent video and here are some good instructions to work on your phone. There are some great guides right here for you to follow. It is a repair that requires good soldering skills and a small soldering tip. You will have to de-solder the old connector and re-solder a new one. Check on here for a similar repair.
