1 LCD heat damage and refitting bezel.
I have a bright spot on my one month old ux32a.
Asus say they will not cover it!!
Will opening the display with a hair-dryer damage a working LCD?
Will the bezel stick properly again?

No, the hair dryer will not damage it, unless you keep aiming it at one spot of the LCD for an excessive time. So keep moving the dryer around. Yes, most likely that the glue will remain sticky enough.
