no display or backlight

Ipad 2 back-light or LCD not working. unit was not dropped. I have sound because it lets me know i have email. digitizer works, i will swipe my finger where you unlock and it makes the unlock sound. I attached to my tv via hdmi accessories cable and ipad displays on tv. not sure if it is logic board issue or needing new LCD. Please Help

i had a repair on iPad 2 recently, in that case it was weak connection between LCD and LCD cable, had to clean it and reconnect. It worked fine.

But there is also many other possible options can be as well:

1) bad LCD

2) water damage

3) problem with motherboard (backlight filter and some other ICs)
