Hello!

Although the damage is most likely linked to the signal it also may not be, the capacitors could just as likely be another function of the phone.

Before declaring it logic board damage ensure the antenna is plugged in, it is located just below the battery connector so it could have been knocked out of place. If it is inserted try removing it and reinserting it.

Try the solution suggested and then reply with the results, we will then reevaluate the situation :)

Good luck, I hope this is as difficult as it gets :)

Thanks Josh, but unfortunately the little plug under the battery connector is o.k., i did unplug it and plug it back again, cleaned it up with isopropyl alcohol and nothing, i'm afraid that i will have to replace the main board. :(

Yes looking at the picture uploaded the components are on the tracks coming from the antenna which means they are indeed causing the signal issues, If you cannot solder them back on after multiple attempts then the board most likely needs to be replaced, unless you are willing to pay someone to do it for you :(

If you do not want to do that then you could try soldering over where the component used to be which will connect the tracks together completing the circuit and hopefully bringing signal back :)

It may not work but if you're going to replace the board anyway then it's worth a shot, but I suggest having a few attempts soldering the components before attempting, if unsuccessful then decide what to do from there :)
