I replace my display assembly on my unibody mac now once completely assembled when I press the power button nothing happens no noise no fan nothing. Reset smc still nothing any ideas?

Go over all your connections again. Most often in cases like this one that "looks" or "seems" good is lose, not snapped in, ribbon cable not in all the way or cam not locked dow, or there was some damage.
