I grounded my Ipod touch, and now, whenever I push the power button, the screen will turn white for a couple seconds. The device is recognized by iTunes, but again, all I can see is a white screen. I don't know what to do next.

try holding the power and the home button until the screen goes black. keep holding both buttons until the apple symbol appears. It may also be that the LCD connection is loose and needs to be reconnected.
