How to remove Metal clamp for sensory flex and ear piece?

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to remove the Metal clamp that fixes the sensory flex and ear piece in my iPhone 3GS. But I can't seem to get it off. no matter what I do. Some advise would be much appreciated.

there is three tabs/clips. you have to pry on them a little. the earpiece speaker however is practically impossible to take off the plastic frame. the is an adhesive tape underneath. can probably heat with a pry, tho.
